from the looks of the coin it's king George V on one side and has the horseman on the other which has the earmarks of a gold sovereign from England.

I'm going to say your coin is a 1912 Perth Sovereign

I'll leave the valuation part to those more knowledgeable.

and to the Community

As to a grade, that can only be determined once it's out of the pendant (since it could have rim damage and render it ungradable) Many a coin has been destroyed by turning it into jewelry.

The good news: if it's a sovereign, then it's got 0.23 troy ounces worth of gold in it. So it's worth at least that amount of gold.

Chances are that you're asking your question in the wrong place. Let me explain.
If you look at the King's head side of the sovereign you'll see that it's been retained by some gold clips. Even though gold is a soft metal, they will leave a mark; and collectors prefer their coins in as original state as possible. So what you have is now, to all intents and purposes, a piece of jewelry as the gemstone additions show.

A jeweler may be willing to give a verbal valuation for free or cheaply. Written valuations always attract a fee.

The P above the date indicates it was minted in Perth, so it's actually an Australian Sovereign, but if there's any wear or damage from it being in the locket frame, it is probably only worth the price for the gold content. Obviously the clasp also has some value being gold plus the diamonds.

I would be inclined to take the advice offered by alganbagerap, and see what a Jeweller has to say.
