Hard to tell grade by photo, but why send it to ICCS?
They would probably grade it a point or so lower plus
it would be in a plastic flip as opposed to the hard
case it is already in.

Another one that ICCS would probably grade lower, I would leave it be if it was mine.

I agree. The reverse may deserve a 55 but the obverse means that this coin is 50 at best, and that is assuming that the braid isn't as flat as it looks from the picture.

The grade is correct in PCGS eyes. ICCS grade would be correct in their eyes only. I am growing weary of people saying one TPG firm is wrong. They are just opinions. As your opinion of the grade is just that an OPINION. People ask everyday here because they trust TPG. Buy the coin not the holder. Learn to grade yourself. Then the TPG opinions will carry less weight. Impossible to form an experienced opinion from the images provided. Any GUESS at grade from these pics is exactly that. A guess. ICCS can have bad days as can PCGS or CCCS or ACG or ICG and even NNC can occasionally even get close.

Thanks for comments. The pics doesn't do it justice and that is my fault, I need a better camera for taking close-ups. The braids in hair are all good except for a bit of wear on some that loop the ear other than that it looks good to me and happy to keep it in slab as opposed to a little baggie.

@nicklesguy I hear ya on the everlasting rants we all have on TPG but speaking for myself only its too bad that the grading system used in North America is so lopsided. When you consider an "opinion" on a bad day can cost me and others thousands of dollars it gives me great concern that while I am enjoying the hobby am I fooling myself into thinking that the investor in me is going to actually make a profit some day if I decide to get out of it and sell and what value am I leaving for my wife or grandkids with my ever growing collection and how many 64's are there that are 65's or higher ? Lets not kid ourselves it is the auction and TPG companies that reap the harvest.
