There is something on the mirror fields of this proof lincoln. it seems too raised to be what one of my theories was, which is that it could be flaked powder from the portrait. I tried shaking it in the proof case and the stuff remained in place. I know sometimes the proof coins in those fuzzy cases can have "fuzzy stuff" come loose and get on the coin but this one is plastic. Haven't seen something like this.

It might be a struck through grit/sand/rusty die. The rest of the coin looks sweet. Just that one acne looking area.

Might be strucn through dust, like it was the first coin struck with a die that had been sitting out.
