Road kill, perhaps by a Cadillac One Lunger, or a very early Model T.
I would love to have a coin such as this, in any condition!

Congrats ...

It is sort of a interesting ... I found myself
looking at it and wondering how it got all
those hits ... I mean that in a good way.

Always nice to get some early copper

Not as bad as some say. You should see my first one. Need a lot of imagination to make out the date.

I have a English 1797 Cartwheel my Grandpa brought from England when he a boy in 1880`s, worn slick. I just wonder where its been before he got it and people who have had that coin. Also brought over 2 farthings 1860 and 1865 Victoria in XF+. They have a lot of history that I will save for my 13yr old grandson to keep them in the family

I find coins like this much more compelling than the same coin in better condition.

This coin would have much more interesting stories to tell than its BU sister.
