I'd stop now and look for one in better shape.

I would like to say.

Coins like this will never be album quality, at least in my opinion.

For me, coins like are good to see if possible to restore at least a little.

I feel knowing how to do this, has more to do with metal detecting finds.

Finding coins like this, metal detecting, started me out looking for ways to make my finds a little better.

I do feel cleaning collectable coins, in most cases hurts them more than helps.

Reading and posting on CCF ancient coin section, I think, helped me
deal with coins like this.

The most recent photos make the coin look fine. It isn't amazing, but I would still throw it in my type coin set till I find an upgrade (I'm missing that style, if you want to sell it ).
