Went to my local once a year coin show yesterday. There were about 10-15 tables sent up. I went with my want list and although I did not find the exact coin I was looking for I did find a few that I did need. After going back and forth from table to table I decided on this one, please excuse the pictures. 1917-S Standing Liberty quarter Type 2.

I bought it from the president of our coin club and he believed it was a VF-20,with a chance at VF-30. According to my RedBook VF-20 has Garment Line across right leg worn but visible at the sides. Is that the area between the hip and the knee, and these lines are on both sides of the right leg, one a little lower? Thanks in advance for any info.

I'd go with VF20, maybe VF25 not VF30 though...needs more reverse eagle details to make 30.

Easy VF20; I'd want clearer pics to nail it down more carefully.

I'm with SsuperDdave: a nice easy VF-20 possibly better with clearer pictures.

One of my favorite designs!!

Yean certainly no worse than VF20, and probably 25.
