Hey! I just found these 6 nickels in the remainder of a box. Instead of flooding the forums with individual posts I decided to post them all here.

1: 1982P - Die chip?
2: 1994D - (Strange lines, just saw another similar forum post, looks like trail die?)
3: 1984D - VLDS?
4: 2013D - (Weird strike | I've seen this on many of this nickel; not sure if they were all the same year/mint | the line is visible when coin is moving in the light, difficult to take a picture of. | I know it's not rare since I've seen it on MANY coins, just wondering what it is/what caused it)
5: 2000D - (I've seen a lot of grease looking strikes in this year, this one is a bit strange. Some letters look enlarged and the Monticello has doubling [MD?])
6: 1976D - Minor clipped planchet; I know it is insignificant, just thought this was interesting since it still exhibits the symptoms of a larger clipped planchet.

1. 1982-D Die gouge.
2. Die polishing lines in the field of the die.
3. Correct VLDS
4. can't see what you are seeing.
5. Machine Doubling near steps and the devices look like VLDS on the outside edge. Possible struck through
grease. SO it is the best of the worst on this one. Spendable
6. Looks like a minor incomplete planchet.

Thanks Coop,

I'll probably keep 1, 2, and 6.
As for #4 it was difficult to take a picture at that time of day, I don't have good light sources. Here is some better pictures that still lack the actual look. It appears to be a raised bit that I have seen on sooo many of the coins of this design:

Here is an overlay of the design for 2009 which I believe is the same one for the 2013:

But the direction is wrong for your coin to be a clash.

It's really strange, I'll try to save them the next box I get just to show how many there are. I know there wouldn't be any added value to it since it's so common, but it's bugging me as to what it is every time I see it
