I just ordered on ebay the 2015 Charlton Standard Catalogue Canadian Coins Vol. 1 Numismatic Issues 69th for $18.95. It was time to upgrade since my last edition was the 2009 issue!

My old copy of Charlton (18th ed.) dates from 1970!
Still quite useful, for the Canadian coins that I collect, up to 1967.
Bought it for 50 cents at a church jumble sale.

There are two equivalent Australian catalogues:
Rennicks and
Mc Donalds.
Both have updated annual editions.

We just bought our 2015 issue a couple weeks ago, it has a 'counterfeit' section in this issue.

Hope I get mine soon. It was sent via media mail and that is usually very slow.

Earliest I have is the 1967 Centennial Edition (15th edition), in near perfect condition. It still amazes me how the coin photographs from that era are still better than anything I can take with present-day technology. :P

Looks like my library has it all the way back to the 5th (1957) edition. I haven't seen a catalogue printed before the 60s, I'm going to try borrow it just to see what it looks like.

Thanks CoinHunter, for showing a page from that catalogue. Any way you could show us the pre 1948 dollars page and the post 1957 page for the silver dollars?

Hope all is good with all of you for this Happy Easter time!

Took long time for me to figured out how to put this pictures on here but here is my Easter eggs for you all to enjoy :)

My dad he bought me this Charlton 1958 when I was a little boy an I have kept it good since then.

You could have bought the '48 dollar for only the $30 bucks back then!

Happy Easter!

Gilles

I am finding the new edition is missing things like modern uncirculated sets and specimen sets and coins.

What you have is Volume One for circulating coins.
You have to get Volume Two for NCLT and non circulating sets.
