Although this gal has been cleaned, she's definitely worth the effort - my second one in hand. VF? PG

You got it Cascade... I have an "AU" one that came back with "details" grade from PCGS also. The Mint's attempt to polish out the "crumbles" almost guarantees a "details" from the TPG's... PG

What?... Why would mint die polishing cause a details grade. Can they not tell the difference? Can't remember without looking but I have a VAM with harsh polish lines all over the fields so bad I thought it was cleaned but came back MS

1G, but this one is a very close call to VAM-31. There is enough detail here and at VAMworld to nail the attribution but it's not easy. Good practice to see if you can tell the difference.

For me, the first "8" placement in relation to the denticles is the real deciding factor. The vast majority of the PUP's in a circulated one are very difficult/impossible to nail.

Date placement isn't clear enough in the images. They're too close.

How'd I do it?

uhmmmmmmm

a) Crystal ball?
b) LVA is sitting beside you?
c) 88-O dartboard (sitting next to the 80-P board naturally)?
d) Vast knowledge and resources at your command?

I vote (d)..
Rest in Peace

My guess would be the presence or lack thereof doubling under the upper crossbar of the "1" in the date?

Nice pick PG! I love Morgans struck with over-worked dies.
