Sigh. Here we go again. This guy could genuinely be confused, though. I have the impression of a smalltime Russian coin seller who might know nothing about US issues.

Didn't stop me from reporting it, though.

How he is holding it in the last pic like that is very bad and it frustrates me to see people handle coins like this, that seller is LUCKY it is fake. When you touch the surface of a coin like that it wears it down a little bit more and after a century of that it will be a very low grade. People don't understand this and then future generations are left with lower graded coins to collect. Always, Always hold coins on the edge... Always!! Although in this thread it doesn't matter because the coin is fake but still.

Reported them all, 7 fakes. It looks like he had a shill bidder buy a number of the fake world coins and give positive feedback. One of his other bidders bought the worst looking fake Columbian Half that I've seen. ebay need to take this scammer down ...

And then there is the last line in the description

not original/not genuine

His other auctios also appear to have "not original" as the last line in the description as well.

So he is telling you they are fakes.....if you read the descriptions.

Seller states, "Seller reserves the rights to cancel any bids for negative record,

Or low feedback.".......HMMMMMMMMM, seller has 17 feedbacks and a 94.7% rating, I guess he'll have to block himself from bidding.

PS: Looks like he just lost a bid:
Bidder m***m Retracted: US $45.00
