I'd grade this F-15.
If I understand 'market grading' of rarities correctly, that translates to MS-63 BN for this particular example. (In 2009 it may make RB.)

F-12. Definitely a case where cleaning a coin was a good move. What a find! You are the envey of all us limited income Lincoln collectors.

VG-10 (Basic characteristics) Face and jaw are worn flat with some wheat lines visable on the reverse.
The L appears to be the product of a filled die . First I have seen showing this type of missing letter.

That is just bizzare, I think I see a very faint L in there or it's my imagination. I'd sure like to see it in-hand with a loupe. That's an interesting coin you have!

Yep, I see it there....very, very faint but it's there. Can you see it in-hand?

Badthad No I havent seen it yet, But now I will look with strong light and loupe.I looked with the loupe, and could not see a trace of the missing L
