after a 45 min soak in acetone.
did it hurt the coin? Help?

What do you think the grade is?
The L in liberty is missing. ?

I'd grade this F-15.

If I understand 'market grading' of rarities correctly, that translates to MS-63 BN for this particular example. (In 2009 it may make RB.)

VG-10 (Basic characteristics) Face and jaw are worn flat with some wheat lines visable on the reverse.

The L appears to be the product of a filled die . First I have seen showing this type of missing letter.

That is just bizzare, I think I see a very faint L in there or it's my imagination. I'd sure like to see it in-hand with a loupe. That's an interesting coin you have!

No I havent seen it yet, But now I will look with strong light and loupe.

I looked with the loupe, and could not see a trace of the missing L
