Great Silver Haul At Local Bank - Coin Community Forum

aardspeed Pillar of the Community 921 Posts	Posted 04/01/2015 4:52 pm Today when I went to my local bank, I always ask if they have any silver dollars, 50 cent pieces etc etc, except this time, the girl at the counter said they just got some in without me even saying anything... To my surprise, she said they had over $100 of both dollars & fifty cent pieces of both US & CANADIAN currency, which I scooped up... How does one come into so much US coinage at a Canadian bank, or vice versa? I work as a bank teller in the US, and we are to refuse any foreign coinage of any kind.
