Hello all, I just finished buying all the brown box and blue Ike's and was wondering if it's worth keeping them in their OGP or should I move them all to something more secure like air-tites? Are they worth more in the original packaging? Thanks for the help as always I appreciate it!

I would just leave them alone if you get graded you wouldn't have all the same grade.I would keep them OGP,

I always try to leave all my coins in the OGP just to make them correct in the coming years. With most of the moderns it seems OGP is more rare than graded specimens and ones in OGP are actually selling for more than MS/PF-69's from PCGS and NGC are selling for

I just busted a set out to put them in my almost complete Eisenhower album. It's always nice to see a full book loaded up with affordable ($5-$10 on ebay) proofs

The Brown Ikes have been known to spot the coins from whatever chemicals were in the cardboard packaging. I have seen it on numerous occasions.

It can also cause some beautiful blue toning on the coins

Thanks for all your responses. I think I'll leave them alone for now, but eventually move them to an album when I complete the entire Eisenhower set.

Eye of the beholder, I've always considered it to be an ugly milky blue haze
