OK. is it a crack in the plastic or a die crack? if it is a die crack it is a nice one but if there is a value to it I don't know. but there are some that collect them

Plastic cover removed before picture was taken.100%die crack.

All proof errors are fairly rare and potentially collectible. Value is up to the market, but at normal money buy price, I do not see how you can lose much. As I remember, some recent die crack modern proof coins (Half's?) were out there a few years ago for 50-100.00 money or so, but I do not remember prices for sure. Check out the online error sites. The more major the coin error the more valuable the coin, particularly on proofs as that is not supposed to happen. Good luck. G.
