Agreed with the die break. Cracks eventually develop in to chips and later into breaks. I wondered why this progression, but considered that the crack ran deeper into the die and left more of a gap to fill with unshaped area. Leaving a raised area where the die was not placing pressure on. I found one with many die cracks on the head and I thought I would see if anyone could top it?

Not complaining by any means,
but still confused. Reading a few other
threads from past posts about this same thing,
coppercoins states: nothing but a crack.
I just posted (straight scoop die etc..)
and now am wondering how we go from a break back to a crack ?
