I split your reply into its own post and moved it to the appropriate forum for the proper attention.

Welcome to the forum...

From what I have seen a tube of ASE's can fetch a slightly higher premium than if sold individually. I am curious to what the others will say though.

It is almost always cheaper to buy a tube of 20 ASE's over purchasing the pieces individually.

For example, with online dealer Provident Metals, you will receive a price break of .23c ea. when purchasing a tube of 20, over individual pieces, a savings of $4.60, (not inluding shipping costs, even more savings).

The online PM dealers often provide tiers of increasing price discounts based on the number of coins or rounds purchased. The only time a "tube" of coins might generate a premium of any kind would be if you were selling a new and unopened mint tube. APMEX's "Mint Direct" program comes to mind.

When selling, though, individual coins will typically get you the highest price per coin.

to CCF fellow Michigander. It seems that a tube is a bit cheaper then one coin at a time.
