I've spent zero time looking for or at error coins but a couple of recent presentations in the coin club did spark some interest in me. In a box of well circulated and improperly stored coins lying around for years, I found this. Is this a DDO? It's much more obvious in the microscope. Thanks - this is for my education (assuming I can still learn!).

That's Mechanical Doubling or die wear. A true doubling has characteristics of it's own.

Thanks for the comments. I guess I have to learn how to get larger sized images showing - I presume by putting them on my own website and then linking the image here? Otherwise, it's too small to enlarge enough.
