I don't consider small die cracks as an error, not until it is big enough to catch my attention at a glance. People don't bother to list these since they are unique to every die (unless it can be used to ID something like a doubled die or an RPM). Small die cracks won't bring a premium either.
And 1981s aren't silver, they're nickel. Nickel is a hard metal and the dollars are a big coin so it causes more stress on the die when striking. Hairline cracks would develop quickly.
