98 percent of these 1971 to 1973 half silver dollars get incredible to unbelievably ugly toning due to the sulphur content of the case materials. They do not dip out well at all and look worse even after a single quick dip. What is really rare is a 100 per cent blast white original coin. Do not recall ever seeing one.

I like the toned ones even black toning. I have ordered a 1973 Prestige Set in hopes of getting the toned dollar.
Want the 1973 Specimen quarter as well. Thanks Chequer and Pacificoin.
