Pacificoin Pillar of the Community Canada 5395 Posts	Posted 04/03/2015 5:41 pm 98 percent of these 1971 to 1973 half silver dollars get incredible to unbelievably ugly toning due to the sulphur content of the case materials. They do not dip out well at all and look worse even after a single quick dip. What is really rare is a 100 per cent blast white original coin. Do not recall ever seeing one.
