Well there has been a lot of discussion on whether or not having daylight bulbs really makes a difference, so I decided to do an experiment.

On my camera I am using the custom white balance setting. Turn on the lights that you are going to use and fill the sensor with a piece of white paper and set the white balance.

Other than being shrunk these are unedited

I really see no major difference, but I seem to like the daylight ones a bit better. Good experiment.

I think the only place it really shows a difference is with the non lustrous stuff. Thanks for the comparison.

In all honesty, I don't think lighting makes the slightest difference as long as your white balance is close, if you're willing to twiddle the color afterwards. You can see the differing white balance settings in the examples - they're both weighted too heavily towards the prevailing color of the bulb. The soft whites are a little too yellow, and the Daylights are a little too blue. However, both are close enough to make an easy job of correction in any decent postprocessing software.
