Went to the local bookstore. Many, many books on coins, but none on any specific coins. Except for the yearly RedBook, all my material is on Morgans. Most of which had to be ordered from Mr. VanAllen himself. Has anyone researched Buffalo nickels and published a book that can be purchased ? All help greatly appreciated.

My local Border's has occaisionally had the Whitman book on Buffalo nickels written by Q. David Bowers. I also believe that David Lange has written an excellent Buffalo nickel book, you can probably google him and find his book.

There are a couple for sale at Teleshpere, One is "The complete guide to Buffalo nickels " By David Lange and the other "Treasure hunting Buffalo nickels" . I am sure these books can be had at most bookstores. The complete guide looks like it has history and a year by year mint analysis, I might even get one....

Try the Walmart web site. Usually the cheapest prices on any books and a fantastic variety.

Amazon will also have a huge selection. And usually it is the cheapest place to coin related books. And alot of the books come with free shipping if your total order is minimum $25. Which isn't hard buying coin related books
