I hit two ebay milestones this week.

The first one is a good one. I reached 3000 feedback with a 100% positive rating. I'm happy about that.

The other one is not so good. After over five years of selling coins on ebay it looks like I may have my first non-paying customer. A buyer from the Russian Federation with "0" feedback purchased a $50 U.S. coin as a "Buy It Now" and I have yet to hear from him after a number of days. I've sent a payment reminder through ebay but am not holding my breath that I'll hear back and receive payment.

I could be wrong, but I don't have a good feeling about this one. At least I made it this long.

My daughter runs ebay sales for a second-hand designer clothing store and told me they have numerous non-payers every week.

Congratulations!

It is hard to start off that long and maintain 100% feedback. It seems that everyone is a critic now and again. I haven't sold in a couple of months, but when I started, I would get a non-payer once every few weeks. I finally just blocked bidders from certain locales and people who hadn't paid for things in the past. The number of occurrences went down after that.

Very impressive 3000 feedback and 100 per cent.
I have received many non payments. Looks like the buyer might have changed his mind.
Every time this happens all you need to do is wait 7 days and then put though a order cancellation and select non payment. ebay then cancels the sale, refunds the fees, and notifies the buyer. Dosen't effect your ebay rating in any way. You can't make them pay if don't want to.

The buyer never paid. I filed an non-paying complaint with ebay, cancelled the transaction, relisted the coin and blocked the seller (another first for me).

I guess that's about all you can do in a case like this.
