I have a set of Crowns which I believe to have been cleaned prior to my purchasing them.

They still look pretty good.

What advice do you offer for these coins to possibly maintain their value?

A little toning might give them a more natural appearance and make the cleaning much less noticeable. You can just put them away, forget about them and then see how they look in a few years. That is what I would do. You can also try leaving them on a window sill for several months. Just remember to check on them and turn them over every few weeks.
