Oh yea, I forgot, I once bought a collection of cents in a US Mint Album. You know those heavy blue and grey albums ones with the sharp metal corners. It was packaged in a padded envelope, not bubble padded, but had the shredded insulation stuffing between the paper. Well....it arrived with a hole right through the envelope, looked like confetti was pouring out, and I could literally hear the coins jangling around inside...AND IT WAS POSTAGE DUE. How no coins fell out it was a miracle. That was the worst. This was a distant second.

One time I got a 1896 penny taped down to a piece of cardboard. Yikes.
