It´s a 2 maravedis coin, issued at Seville (Spain) by Elisabeth and Ferdinand "the catholic kings".
Elisabeth, queen of the kingdoms of Castille and Lion, and Ferdinand, king of Aragon, gets married starting then the kingdom of Spain.
Their billon coinage was issued since 1479 till 1505, but their silver and gold coinage till 1556 because it was such a prestiged coinage in Europe that was a sort of "trade coinage".
The legends, according to laws must be: "FERNANDUS ET ISABEL DEI GRACIA, REX ET REGINA CASTRA LEGIONIS" ("Fernandus and Isabel by God´s grace, king and Queen of Castille and Lion"), but always appears abbreviated and sometimes slighty changed as in your case.
So the obverse legend in your coin is: "FERNANDUS : 7 : ELISABET : DE : + :"
And thev reverse legend: "REX : 7 : REGINA : CASTILL : 7 : L : + :"
Castilla means "land of castles" so sometimes it was used the latin word "CASTRA" (military fortified camp) to design it.
León means "Lion", but becomes from the name of his capital city that takes his name of latin word "LEGIO" (Legion) because it was born as the home of the Legio VI Victrix in 29 B.C. and much later of Legio VII Gemina in 74 A.D.
