Help On Undelivered Item - Coin Community Forum

plonker Valued Member United States 462 Posts	Posted 04/05/2015 9:47 pm I am fairly new to selling on ebay and ran in to this just this week. I sold a $60 coin to a newbie buyer with 0 feedback Mar 10th. I am suppose to block 0 feedback buyers but for some reason the filter rules doesn't seem to have work. I shipped the coin next day and followed up tracking until it was marked delivered on Mar 14th. So I was happy the buyer paid quickly and coin was delivered, although no feedback was set by the buyer for few days. I wasn't concerned as not everyone set feedback. However just last week I got my coin back from usps saying "Undeliverable as addressed. unable to forward." I am not sure what to do now and buyer hasnt contacted me at all given its more than 3 weeks since the time of selling. Should I contact the buyer and offer refund ? I am concerned if this is some sort of a scam but cant see how. Perhaps others have had similar experience ? Also I got a message from ebay just this week with "Here's how we protected your selling account" and mentioned "Prevented 1 ebay Money Back Guarantee request(s) from being opened too early in the past 2 months". I cannot find more specific information in seller dashboard under seller protection. Any idea how to get more details of this ? Report this Post to the Staff

westernsky Pillar of the Community United States 7627 Posts	Posted 04/05/2015 10:33 pm Email the Seller and ask him to call you to discuss the item. To be protected through PayPal you have to ship the item to the address listed on the PayPal payment. If he asks you to ship to somewhere different, tell him you are going to refund his original payment and for him to resubmit the payment that shows the correct shipping address. Good luck. Debrajc Pillar of the Community United States 4211 Posts	Posted 04/07/2015 07:34 am I had an issue through the holidays saying a package had been delivered when it actually was not delivered. When I inquired at the post office with "how is this possible to show something delivered through the tracking number but still be here at the post office?" She said kind of sheeplishly that the carriers "weren't suppose to" but sometimes when they were busy they would just scan everything as delivered in the morning when they loaded the truck and if it couldn't be delivered they would bring it back that evening but once it has been scanned that it has been delivered you can't change it.
