Hi everyone !!

Got out for about an hour sunday evening !! finally starting to cool off a bit here in the desert !!

1964-D Washington
1940 wheat
1960-D Mem.
1962-D Mem.
2 Silver rings
pendant-base metal with stone

I always get a little excited when I find cent coins from the 60's or earlier at a site ,, when these are found its almost a guarantee that silver coins will be found.

with the cents I found here I would not be surprised by Merc's Roosevelts and as you can see silver Washington quarters, there is also a good possibility for Walkers, Franklins and Kennedy half dollars !!

This could be a very good site that will produce coins for sometime to come.

Rick

Nice finds MM!
I'm surprised that I never see folks out with metal detectors at Ocean Beach in SF. Maybe I'll try myself someday...

Hi Don

Most of the beach hunters either hunt extremely early in the morning, as in day break,, or at night !!

for the simple reason ,, to many people in mid day !!

If you get the chance beaches are very good hunting,, hunt both lounging areas for high and low tide !! around any drift wood barriers and of course the dressing areas if they have them ,

Its a fun relaxing and at time profitable hobby ,, and goes along well with coins for obvious reasons .
