I have a 1977 Eisenhower coin, its real beautiful. Just don't know if its worth much or what full strike means. Was wondering if anyone can help me. Thanks

to CCF. The slab it is in is considered a "basement slab" I don't think it's a PR70.Here is an idea of value http://www.numismedia.com/cgi-bin/c...de2=pricesms I think it's worth around $15

to CCF! I have an Eisenhower dollar similar to that but it's a lot more worn down.

It's not even a basement slab. Just one of those snap together deals. Great coin though.

It is in a Coin World brand holder. I have not heard of INB before. It's a nice enough looking coin,a little light on the cameo though.Hope you stick around our great site.

should I just put in a coin flip? I got it free. So I have no idea what INB Certified is. Or full strike. Just wasn't sure if it was worth much. thanks for all the help.

Keep it in the holder for now and only touch it by the edges!

Ike dollars are a fun series to collect. It would be easy to complete
And not spend to much. Well unless you were going for a very high grade set.

What you have is a clad proof Ike. All proof should be a "Full strike"

Your coin looks like a nice example. IfI had it, I would create a new
label just to be more accurate.

Edit, I just realized this thread should be in the modern section

FYI ... You can ask moderators to move this to the modern section.
You will get more Ike collectors looking at it.

Edit ...either I saw it wrong ...or it got moved.

As for a label, for me, it would be more of taking off some information.

Like - Proof 70 and INB certified full strike.

I think they moved it. Well I got a email saying they did. I didn't know if that stuff on the label mattered or not. Just the way I received it.

Oh ... It does not matter that it is there, big thing is that your
happy with it.

I was just giving my opinion.

Collect coins for what you like, not what others like.

Here on CCF you can share your coins, but you can get ideas
and learn from what others are doing.

Just collect in the style you like and be happy.
