Two Wierd 1925 Cents - Coin Community Forum

thingee Pillar of the Community United States 2177 Posts	Posted 12/12/2007 05:21 am Hi Zackarycash. To me the first profile seems a little off. It seems to go almost straight down from the top of his head to on his nose. His nose for example goes almost straight down and then sorta ski slopes. In the second profile I see a Pinnochio like nose. Shifting or ghost profiles on both cents. My guess, only a guess is that both coins have been cleaned- very scratched up- and then someone toyed around with some tools. Report this Post to the Staff

No sign of tooling, it's just the colors and lack of contrast cast in the image by a moderately worn coin with planchet problems. Neither have any premium value. Report this Post to the Staff
