Copper sulfate, probably? If I read right, it should dissolve in water but the reaction is exothermic.

The left side appears to be green while the right side is blue so that would most likely be copper chloride and copper sulfate.

Interesting find. I would not bother to conserve it. Keep it as is for discussion, but also keep it away from your other coins.
