I sniped this on the BAY for $57! The seller didn't know he had an amazing clashed die!!

Please grade, and value if possible!

Super pumped!!

The obverse lighting is incandescent.

The reverse lighting is natural lighting.

These are some of the most fun coins to cherry pick,

I have found about five or six of these in local shops throughout the Southeast. My favorite one was a "dateless flying eagle I got for $4. The date was worn off, but the only detail that really remained was on the clash area.

Keep your eyes open for the rarer 25c clashed reverse and the ultra rare $20 obverse clash for the same date.

Do you know what the value of my coin would be? Did I roughly double my money?

Snag.

Value is difficult to estimate because they're available in high Mint State, so it's hard to tell what demand would be like down in that grade range. I do feel safe in saying it would be significantly higher than what you paid.

I think I'm OK with F-12 for it.
