I have done the same, but with 20 mins left, I doubt anything will be done.

Bad enough selling nonsense rolls, but the seller could have easily put a real 1882 on the end without losing anything. A fake one really takes chutzpah.

It sure is a mystery how such a modern fake got into this estate roll, wrapped years ago by an elderly bank teller ... NOT!

This one is a poor example because the fake Cent gives the complainer traction, but the thing that frustrates me most about these roll sellers is there's often so little of substance upon which to base a complaint. Especially if they word things carefully. It's so greasy you wonder how the seller can stand without slipping, but not "illegal."

Anytime they use the words "unsearched" or "unopened", people need to just run away IMHO.

The irregularity of the digits in the date are a dead giveaway to a knowledgeable IHC type.

It's not just the date that screams fake. It's really the entire coin. The portrait, the date, the feathers are all wrong. Look at enough Indian Heads and soon you'll develop a sixth sense when it comes to detecting fakes.

Maybe the seller is such a genius, he didn't know it was fake.

These "cartoonish" coins start jumping out at you after seen many authentic ones.
