Here is another Standing Liberty quarter. This is the sellers picture. It hasn't arrived yet. I think I got a nice deal. It's a 1917-D type I. The sellers coin holder says MS63. Is this right?

Paid $113.00
about 1/2 of Red Book. I don't get greysheet.
so what I thought was an enormous bargain is really about a wash.
new to the game. I'll make less mistakes soon enough.

If you're new to the game, I would recommend buying only third party graded coins until you become better at grading. With that being said it is almost impossible to grade from a picture with any accuracy. If you still want to buy raw coins, make sure the seller will accept returns.

Cleaned does not mean worthless, right. Is there a market for coins that have been cleaned? Besides me that is.
