I was replenishing change in a cash register drawer at work on Friday and discovered a couple of weird looking coins in a bank roll. There was a corroded 1906 Indian Head cent in the roll as well as a 1978 penny from Ireland in extra fine condition.

You never know what will show up in bank rolls, so it's fun to go through a few rolls now and then to see what's still out there.

Nice finds! Interesting that you would spend Indian Head cents. I hope they fall into the right hands!

Kid - sometimes they are cleaned or AG coins of a common date. I've let a couple go like that. Not the first ones found, but later after accumulating a few. You'll have a turn at it at some point. Or maybe an old LWC.
