What do you guys think of the Facebook coin auction pages that are popping up? I know of three now.

Could it be spam? Do you have specific auction pages you are referring to?

I wouldn't touch it with a stolen 10-foot pole. Facebook is a criminal's dream, one-stop shopping for identity theft (and other kinds). Stuff like that is what I did in Military Intelligence, and I know how easy it is to collate information about someone from the million different places they leave little tidbits.

Or you can get it all in one place with the victim's cooperation. Just_don't.

Facebook is probably the worst place one could buy anything from anyone.

Those are pretty large groups and all the members are visible and most have their real names (normal for Facebook, of course), so there are definite security considerations.
