I think strong MD, but I'm no expert on double dies. I say this because it's shelf like and does not have evidence of splitting text. Also since it is on both sides of the coin

I see md also. I think I also see split serif on E, and I am not sure of reduced devices in pluribus.

Even if that's MD, that's the best 2000P nickel I've seen with MD.

Yes I know what you mean about this particular date. The more I look at it, I see reduced devices in pluribus. The E though does have a strong notch at the bottom right. I will add a close-up of it.

Note the inside horizontal on the "R & B" on PLURIBUS. It is reduced. On hub doubling it will show a spread.

Yes, the doubling is the hardest part for me. I have my biggest trouble in "reduced devices" because I often don't know what they look like normally. I suppose I could check another coin of same date and mint?

When you question if they are reduced, look for thinned areas of the devices. Another way is to make a side by side with the devices cropped and sized the same size. Always compare devices from the same year. Mint marks may vary in some years.

I use the side by sides to see what is normal-machine doubled-hub doubled dies coins- or other purposes. They always help me see the differences.
