I was at my local bank making a deposit and I asked if they had any half dollars, like usual, they didn't (seems the times I do get them, I usually end up finding some silver)

Anyway that's when one bank teller came over (older lady) and said "Oh I have so many of those half dollars at my house, I should really bring them in to cash in"

I told her if she ever wanted to do that, id be glad to take them off her hands. Hopefully she is serious about cashing them in, id love to look through them, especially if she has been hoarding them for the years!

Jeckel - list at melt or just above. It will usually sell. Or use craigslist and keep the 13%. Envious of your barber. I only found 1 myself. I still have it. Other than the columbian exposition coin its my oldest found

Went to a dump bank to deposit coins and did that. Went to another Chase and picked 2 1964 D's out of a teller tray. It was all she had, and her question to me when I asked if she had any, "Are you SURE you want them? Their old." My response, "How old?" Her response, "1964". Yes please...

On top of that the box I went through today had 2 40%er's and I still have 3 boxes coming later this week. Liking this week.

I'm still hunting for my monster box, so let me vicariously live through you, GoldPanner, once you open that box and get like a bajillion silvers...

Well out of my box The three rolls that were enders were the only three rolls with silver. The one roll that weighed 246 had 15 64's in it By far the most 90% I have ever gotten out of a fed wrapped roll The other two rolls had 6 64's and 5 90%. Just odd that three rolls were loaded and the rest of the box had nothing hopefully however got the next box hit big.

Gold, that's what I generally refer to as a leading indicator that there may be a big stash coming up in your area... if you get a couple more huge rolls like that in otherwise plain boxes, up your volume drastically until it ends.

Gold,
I'll echo Fade but would encourage you to do it immediately. Sometimes you'll get a few good rolls in a few boxes and sometimes not. It depends on how your coin is being boxed by your local courier. It could indicate the monster box was boxed just before or after the box you received. Get on it man.

Btw, last week I had 10 rolls all towards the back that produced pretty good(nothing like Gold's). Of course, true to my luck, I only got 2 boxes from that courier last week instead of my normal 10. 4 boxes yesterday returned a single 40%
