Good find on the Barber - my 1902 was worn even more but I still like it for sentimental reasons. I have actually cut way back on my boxes to 6 a week. Might pick it up again in the Fall. But today I did 2 boxes, both skunks...on a positive note, I stopped at a bank on the way to the beach, they only had 6 coins, (5 40% and a 64 Kennedy!). You just never know...

I stopped in a bank I have never been to in my town Saturday. I asked then if they had any loose halves. The teller asked the line and it turned up 17 coins. He brought them to me and apologized that they were dirty but told me they were silver. 15/17 silver 40%
1-1965 5-1966 4-1967 4-1968(D) 1-1969(D)
The interesting thing was that he counted them all at a back counter and I think he gave some back to the teller whose draw they came from. I dont know if I should hit them again to see if maybe they are hoarding silver halves.

Cashgardener nice score on those. If it were me I would definitely try that bank again.
You never know what they might have when you go back. If you go back and they have nothing, at least you tried.
Just my opinion.
Congrats on the ones you found.

Anytime you find a bank where they hand you silver - go back frequently. At least every other week. You go too much and they will think you are a pest but every couple weeks seems to be a good amount of time for me. Also I try to time my visit before they get the armored car deliveries. You might intercept a large bag of halves waiting to leave!

The drought continues... Even the mighty silver hunter Don is getting skunked. My first 2 boxes of halves I ever got this spring were so productive (12 each) but recently has been TOUGH!

I shall go hunting on Friday at about 20 banks. Hopefully will get some of the silver that does not seem to be making it to the boxes.

Since I've been doing pretty good with this the past few weeks, I just ordered 2 more boxes for later this week.
I'll post results after.
*Don:
6 boxes and absolutely nothing- WOW!
Were they Fed ( yellow and white) or Brinks boxes?

How often would you say it is likely to come across a Walking Liberty half in fed boxes. I think that this would be my real motivation for purcahsing them. Its pretty easy to work my circut of banks and turn up thousands a halves I havent searched a week but some exciting new finds would be nice

Picked up $61.50 from a total of 5 different branches. 3 40% and 1 NIFC (2003D). I'm way behind last year's 40% silver- think it might be starting to dry up some.
