100$ CWR yielded zilch

4 boxes, all skunks looking at the ends. now one by one, found a dirty 68d last time. arby, could you do a close up of a 74d, I want to see how easy or hard it is to tell, thanks. keep hunting all.

i went to the bank today to order a box for tomorrow, but I missed the ordering deadline. They told me that they did have 490 available. Pretty close to a box, I said I would take it. It was basically a full box that someone had opened and removed one roll.

My mind start to wonder if this roll was some type of obvious ender. For a moment it was a bad thought that I lost an ender, but then I realized... if there was an ender, maybe there is more inside!

So I get it back to my desk and I opened it (again). Scanning, I see something that I didnt quite comprehend at first. It was too wonderful of a sight. A liberty bell! 2 liberty bells! I had 2 Benders before opening a roll. I could not resist and opened all of the rolls right there on the spot at work at lunch time ha. To my delight, I got 2x62, 5x64, and 10 40%s!

This was only my 3rd box, and the first 2 were skunks. Interesting 2 Benders and no other Bens to be found in the box. My first 90% from a box was a Ben!



Then after work, I tried to scrounge up some more halves at other banks. One teller had 1 half. She told me it was an old one. She sold it to me, and it was a 1964 :-)

Wow its been an awesome week here on CCF, I'm here in Phoenix and I brought 8 boxes with me, I have gone through 7 of them and have pulled 6-64, 2-65, 7-66, 13-67, 8-68, and 4-69, 16-NIFC, 1-74 counterstamped, 2 - clad proofs 79S and 88S, 1 Gem 72D, 1-magic coin it's a double reverse, not sure what is inside. So today I went and picked up $500 in C W R'S at a Phoenix bank. The teller said they had been there a long time. This is the best haul I have ever pulled from CWRs 1-42, 1-43s, 1-51D, 1-52, 1-54D, 1-58D, 1-60D, 1-62D, 8-64D, 6-64, 6-65, 6-66, 5-67, 5-68 and 2-69. 1 magic coin 77, 1-NIFC 06D, 1-Gem 89D. Don't give up the silver is still out there. Remember, "LOVE THE HUNT!"

I just finished that last box I pulled 1-67 and 1-magic coin. Keep it up don't give up. Weeks like this don't come around too often, but when they do it sure is wonderful.
