I snagged a 1964 and a 1965 Kennedy from a bank today. I asked for halves and the teller went back to a coin counter and pulled a fistful from a bag. I noticed a dark-looking one (the 1964) and a whitish one (the 1965). One of her co-workers told me "You sure have an eye for silver!" and I remarked "I certainly do!"

The beginning of the week didn't start out so well, but this set of 4 boxes was very good. 15-90%ers and 32-40%ers, Boxes 1 and 2 yielded 1-90%er and 1-40%er. Boxes 2 and 4 made up the difference, box 2 had 4 enders. Here is the breakdown, 1-63D, 12-64D, 2-64, 1-65, 4-66, 9-67, 14-68,and 4-69. Also 2-NIFC, 1-74D DDO, and 1-87P. Also one of those rip off plated and dated Kennedys counterstamped (1960-1980) Remember "LOVE THE HUNT!"

Did a box today. Only 1 67' 40%er but 7 NFIC including 2- 2014d and 3- 2014p. Anyone else running into a lot of 2014's? Other NFIC were 07p and 04d.

HodagCoins I have only pulled two 2014 so far. I wonder how long this silver will last in circulation. When I went to the bank today to pick up my boxes there was the Manager from Bells making a deposit and he told me a woman came into his store and paid her credit card payment with silver half dollars. It amazes me people still don't realize how much money they are loosing. Good Luck everyone. I have to go break into my next 4 boxes. Wish me luck.

Manager from Bells making a deposit?
The hunt in L.A. is going well. It's unfortunate that silver is so low.

I went to pick up a box I ordered from the bank yesterday. They did not have it but they did have 2 loose halves. I bought both of them and one happened to be a 1967.
