Found myself in L.A. near the airport and had a half-hour to wait while my daughter was at the dentist. I strolled over to a Wells Fargo to ask for halves and they had $30 worth. Here's what I got: All 60 coins were 40% silver, including 20 coins that were nice BU 1968-D pieces. It felt nice to see so much silver sliding out of the rolls!

Jaobler, nice find, to open a roll and see all silver fall out is a great feeling and sound. Music to my ears. M0nks purchase some boxes its all a matter of numbers, sooner or later you will find some silver. Jack can you post a picture of that 1919 British coin. Thanks.

nice finds all! my skunk streak ended at 9 thankfully. 2 boxes this week and the first produced a 64 and a 67, and the 2nd box produced a 68. The silver rims were a sight for sore eyes!

Congrats Jaobler on the great find, first $20 roll of halves I have ever seen! When did those go out of use?

Picked up one box of halves this morning and found no silver which is normal for me. Did find 1 2009-d and 1 2013-d NIFC's that I needed. There were 3 or 4 more NIFC's but I returned them to the wild.

4 boxes today and 3 of the 4 boxes were skunks for silver and very much everything else. I pulled 1-66, 2-67, and 4-67, 2-Clad Proofs 03S and 04S, 9-NIFC and two Obama sticker coins. Hope everyone else has some good luck this week, will be picking up 4 more boxes tomorrow. Remember "LOVE THE HUNT!"

Just finished up my last 4 boxes for the week, I was suppose to get another 4 boxes today but my bank didn't order because they had Veterans Day off. 2 of the 4 boxes were skunks, box 1 had 7-40%ers and box 3 had 7-90%ers and 24-40%ers. Here is the breakdown, 1-48D, 1-63D, 2-64, 3-64D, 1-65, 1-66, 19-67, 8-67, and 2-69, I also pulled 1-72D No FG, 5-Clad Proofs, These have been rode hard and put away wet. 79S, 80S, 84S, 92S, and 97S I threw these back. I also scored 9-2014D and 13-2014P's Most 2014 pulled to date. Hope you all have a good week. Keep up the hunt.

silver all over! I had myself a good day with 2 bens, 53d and 59d, and a 68. That was from box 1, and box 2 was a skunk.

Postings seem to be slowing down, are you people taking a break from searching? I'm thinking about traveling out of state and hit up some banks in other towns. Kind of a road trip for silver. There has to be something out there but then again it could be a total bust. I hate banks that the first words out of the tellers mouths is "are you a member" I'm trading money for money, plus they don't like having those coins on hand anyway. Come on people don't give up the hunt.

460$ in rolls and 10$ loose from 2 other banks yielded pretty nice 2005 S proof
