The more people get to know about it the more people get into it.
Classic example is NZ error coins. Price went down from $20-$30 each to a few dollars once people got the tip that they could search bank bulk bags and easily find them.
Some of the 5c coins went for $100's. They are no longer in circulation but are now only worth a few dollars.

4 boxes on Thursday. 1 box had a 40%er and a 1964. 1 box had 2 Franklins and a Walker. The other 2 boxes were skunks. 4 boxes from Friday: all skunks I think this is only the second time I have been completely skunked in a 4 box sitting this year.

Hey CC Family, , This is my 1 year anniversary I started last November. I have had an excellent year. I have pulled out 1,689 pieces of silver. This calendar year alone 1,332. I started off this week well with 36-40%ers, out of 4 boxes, 1 box was a skunk. Box 2 had the most with 28. Box 1 and 2 had one ender in each, love seeing those. Here is the breakdown, 2-65, 10-67, 20-68 and 4-69. 7-NIFC, 1-87P GEM, 1-88P GEM, 1-72 No FG, and 1-79S Clad proof in pretty rough shape. I pick up another 4 boxes tomorrow, hope it goes well too. Hope everyone's luck picks up. "LOVE THE HUNT!"

@Arby, congrats on the year; you've done amazingly well. @Monk, that stinks! Last week's box: didn't count em, but here's the pix: several rolls had mulitiples, not just here in these pix; final count: 15 40's, 1 Benny, 1 panama so refreshing and encouraging to get a box like that.

arby nice yearly total amazing numbers do you keep them all ? or trade them for morgans etc? thats what I did sold all my halves for morgans and gold coins
bernie nice to see you score some silver congrats!!
my banks switched carriers on me naturally the 4 boxes I picked up would be all skunks I've been dumping into that carrier (brinks) for over 7 yrs and I just dont have the desire to look for other banks who still use garda guess thats it for me for halves it was a nice 7+ yr run ill still do dimes and quarters all things come to an end ....

M0nks, I have kept them all for now, nicely stored away at the bank. My plan is to wait 15 years to see if silver prices go up. Of course things could change. I busted 4 boxes today and pulled 2-90%ers and 2-40%ers. 1 box was a skunk, 2-NIFC, 02P, 14P, I also pulled this strange Magic Mystx Coin. Have any of you seen this coin before? Does it go to a game?. M0nk you searched halves for 7 years? what was your approximate numbers of coins searched and silver pulled over that time? I believe I had a good year for my first, its hard for me to believe those numbers will continue. Same on Obverse and Reverse

4 boxes from Monday. 3 out of 4 had at least 1 silver. 6 40%ers, 3 proofs, a couple of NIFC, a "toner", and my first commemorative in a while.

I should have googled it before I posted asking. This magic mysto coin came out of a magic set from the 1930's. They have a few on sale on ebay.
