Thanks Coinsrus1000, hope your new cashier works out. My suggestion it get to know the Managers, I dumped my halves today and the coin machine messed up and registered I dumped an additional 156 dollar coins. I told the manager their machine was paying me for dumping halves and corrected the balance.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but silver halves from ALL regional half dollar sources (coin vaults) are eventually 99.9% removed. This is inevitable.
The amount of silver being turned into banks these days and actually making it to the coin vault to be counted and wrapped is very low compared to 10 years ago when silver prices were very low, so the "recharge" to the system is agonizingly S-L-O-W.

Got a partial bag of halves ($460) today from my banks coin counter. Found one 1964 half and 4 others that were clad halves. Also managed to find 1 nice 2003-d half that I needed for my collections.

Hey all, what are you all doing with NIFCs? I have a bunch of 2002+ and proofs that I have no idea what to with them. I thought I remembered someone wanting to trade them, but can't find that post. Any suggestions?

I've been pulling them out hoping to some day find someone local to trade them with to fill album holes. I'm guessing with the price to mail a bulky envelope with a half in it probably being around a dollar it isn't worth trading one or two at a time through the mail? Doing the same thing with decent post 2012 presidential and ATB coins. Figure they can always be spent for face so if nothing else it's saving a little money for later.

Picked up and searched 8 boxes last night, 4 of the boxes were skunks for silver, again box 2 was my best pulling 19 pieces of silver the box also had 3-Enders. 5 90%ers were in box 2, and the rest 40%ers. Here is the breakdown, 4-64D, 1-64, 1-65, 3-66, 6-67, 4-68, and 4-69. I also puled an 81S clad proof, a 72D and 82P NO FG, a cool looking etched half, and one holed coin. Broke 20 for the week that makes me happy. Enjoy the Pics. "LOVE THE HUNT!"
