interesting looking boxes/rolls. Nice score Carloscoria on some good coins! the rims looks really clean.
also I just realized the bens I got were the first I got of the year in 26 boxes.

Wow, nice finds in the last few days! Wow. Results from a box last night included a dirty Franklin -- but I'm glad to have it. 1961 Franklin (Pics below) 2011D NIFC   |

When I searched my first box, I had no idea what to expect. Ended up picking out 12 silvers. 1 1970D, 1 1963 Franklin, 3 90% and 7 40%. Having searched several boxes since then I wish they were all like that!

Cracked 4 boxes today and 2 were skunks, Box 1 had 1-64. When I opened up box 3 I could see 2 enders, so I pulled them out and put them aside. I grabbed another roll and split it open and I could see 4 silver coins, so I put the rolls back in the box with the other 2 rolls and put that box aside to save that box for last. So out of box 3, it hat a total of 6 enders, it produced 21-90%ers, 15-64D and 6-64, and 43-40%ers, 1-65, 5-66, 22-67, 8-68, and 7-69's. 2-clad proofs, 82S and 97S, 2-74D DDO's, 3-73D Gems, 1-82P No FG, 10-NIFC and 5-Holed coins. Its been a great start to the week. First Roll out of the Box   Love them Enders!  Mini Monster Score       "LOVE THE HUNT!" "LOVE THE HUNT!"

Way to go Arby, that's a great box. Those pics will help a guy get through a skunk streak for sure. I look at all my 74D coins with a magnifying glass and I'm not sure I've ever seen the DDO. Any chance you have a better pic or tips for picking these out? Thanks, JDK350 |

Jdk350, If you can pick up one of those lighted magnifying lamps they sell at Staples, I think you can get one for 19 bucks. It will have a 3 power and a 10 lens, check all my coins under and with help from a that light you can spot them very easily. I know what you mean when searching for them if you have never found one. But once you find one they seem much easier to spot. That might sound strange but that is what it was like for me. Skibdib, one goes through the up and downs in this hobby, and when I hit a bunch of skunks in a row I tend to think to myself, I will never see another box like this, what really helps me to keep searching is this blog, every time I see someone post pictures of their great finds it helps me stay motivated. It blows me away to see anyone pull those kind of numbers after the last silver coin was minted for circulation 45 years ago. I don't think anyone is finding these kinds of numbers searching quarters or dimes. This is incredible if you think about it. I am going to ride this horse as long as I can.  This is the best tool, you will spot those errors quickly.  "LOVE THE HUNT!"

Thanks Arby, I appreciate it. For $20 that seems like a good tool to have.
I've had a number of 74's look doubled but only when the light source is from a certain direction. If I can't see the doubling from all angles I've thrown it back in the dump pile.
