Saved a 1968D from teller s tray, it looked lonely all by itself, after I dumped yesterday's box of dimes.

Got a $1000 bag today from one of my banks and was hoping for the best. When I got to the car I saw the bag was still labeled with the bank that turned it in to the armored service. I know there's another roll searcher that uses that bank as his dump so all I got was $1000. worth that I now have to return to another bank. I didn't get by the other bank that usually get halves for me on Wednesday so maybe tomorrow I can get some boxes. I also went by the bank that I got my dream box from last week and asked them to order me $1000. for next week. They won't be here until next Thursday. Hopefully they will be good ones!!

I went by my usual bank that gets deliveries on Wednesday today to pick up a couple boxes of halves and it seems the nearly 1 foot of snow we got early this week delayed their delivery. Hopefully they came in after I was there or will show up tomorrow. In the meantime I went to Walmart and another store where I shop and spent $150. worth of my rejects today. I also stopped by a few banks in a neighboring town and found 3 halves, none were silver. Since there's never any halves in circulation around here I bet these businesses are wondering where all the halves are coming from.

Thought I'd post a link for cheap coin wrappers in case anyone has to re-wrap their coins before returning them. Sometimes when I'm out of town I dump at banks where only take rolled coins to give my usual dump bank a break, so I bought some to have since lots of banks don't have free half dollar wrappers. http://diebolddirect.com/flat-coin-...dollars.aspx They offer free shipping on all online orders and currently have a promo code "SEARCH" you can use for a discount. When I ordered mine it brought the price down to $2.83 per 1000. I know most of you are probably like me and usually dump at banks with coin counters, but still thought some might find this useful.

Quote: I pulled this 1982P, I will as my CC family if I an call this a "NO FG" Sorry Arby, it's not even close to the real deal On the real deal the bottom serif on the first 1 in the date is polished off and the initials are completely gone. I have found a few with the initials completely gone but still had the serif on the 1. I have found many hundreds that only had the highest point of the G left. Here's the best one I have found so far. I have about 45 with the polished off serif total. The others I throw back.

Wow what a blessed week I have had, my last 4 boxes for the week no skunks, Had 2 enders, 1 each in box 2 and 4. I pulled 10-90%ers, too include, 1-42S Walker, 1-59 Franklin, 6-64D and 2-64. Also pulled 25-40%ers, 2-65, 5-66, 11-67 and 7-68's. I got 2 magic coins this time, 1-counterstamped, 1-NIFC, and 79 Medio-Balboa. I wish you all the best of luck and many blessings your way as well. Enjoy the pics, hope they keep you all motivated. Saving those puppies for last to open Crazy 2 magic coins

Jack, thank you for that info, I rechecked the 8-82P No FG I thought I had and turns out only 4 of them are legit. I will have to remember that when I am searching for these. I wasn't aware about the 1 on the obverse. I need to update my coin book it doesn't even show anything about this error. 50% of my 82P's real deal not bad. Thanks again.
