Yeah, it is crazy that two of us pulle the 1986 commemorative in the same week. It's better to be lucky than good sometimes!

I think the '86 commemorative is the most commonly found commemorative. I think I've pulled at least 4 of em.

of the 86 commemorative's so far.

I've found 4 commemoratives in my searching history: 2 1946 BTW's, a 1951 GWC, and a 1986-S Statue of Liberty. I remember feeling so enthusiastic finding the first BTW thinking that many classic commemoratives have value (it's in AU condition), only to see that it's a $12 coin, though its still better than junk silver. BTW, how often to you find quarters instead of halves? I remember years ago searching how occassionaly I'd get a box with a quarter instead of a half (though I felt that it compensated for the dimes in penny rolls).

The only silver commem I ever pulled was a 1982 George Washington.
It's been a few months since I found a clad one.

Haven't found anything for a while but I did find a bank that will sell me boxes of half dollars! Hooray! I can't wait to start up the hunt again! :D Hopefully I can find something I think over two years (maybe only 5-6 boxes total) I have only found 2 40% Kennedys. We will see!

I have pulled a Washington 1982 silver Uncirculated as well as a Washington silver 1982 Proof.
I found my first silver bicentennial the other day it was a proof and then the next day I got a box from a different vault company and another bicentennial silver proof after searching for two years without finding one.

Congratulations on the Barber, JDK350. I'm still waiting for the day I pull one, but can't complain about what I've found thus far. Only been searching since Nov. and have found over 42 oz. of silver. Most of my finds are 40%, but I've also found (1) Booker T. Washington commemorative, (10) Walking Liberty's, (17) Franklins, (10) 1964 Kennedys, over (100) NIFC, three of which were 1987P/D, and 23 proofs, one of which was a siver/clad Bicentennial.

Thanks guys. RCook - you are a good side-by-side comparison with me. I started in Nov last year as well and have pulled about 36 oz of silver not including proof silver. I averaged about a box per week. We're similar on NIFC as well though I haven't seen an '87 yet. Screen shot of my finds to date:  |

Cracked 4 boxes today 2 skunks, ended up pulling 1-64 and 1-65, and 1-67, 1-2004S Clad proof not in great shape, 2-counterstamped, and 2-NIFC, 1 double holed coin. I keep asking myself why in the heck am I pulling these holed coins. I think once I get a box full I will flood the market  Hope you all have better luck this week.  "LOVE THE HUNT!" "LOVE THE HUNT!"

I opened an account at a bank a couple weeks ago so I could use their coin machine and use them as a dump bank, but things aren't working out very well. Every time I dump coins there the machine is coming a few dollars short. Came up $3. short today and was a few dollars short last week as well. Think I may roll them next week and take them to a different location of the same bank where they don't have a counter. Can't afford to lose $3-5 a week especially since some weeks I don't find anything and other weeks it may only be 1 40%. I told them about the shortage last week and they wouldn't do anything about it so it looks like I'll have to take matters into my own hands by returning them already rolled.

Went through my first box since we moved and my wife and I found 2 1964s, a 1966, and a 1968! Hooray!
