Holed coins go back into the hole unless they are silver. Keep all of them if you like.

1 box today no silver but there were 7NFIC although 4 of the 7 were also counterstamped. Always next week. Think I'm going to up it to 2 boxes a week from now on.

Just finished up 4 boxes 3 were total skunks, last box contained 1-66 and 1-69. That makes 5 for the week, yippee! I have only pulled 1 silver holed coin since I have started. I feel a monster box is coming, someone is going to his it big. "LOVE THE HUNT!"

I've found quite a few holed halves and returned all to the wild except for a single franklin, the only silver holed half I've ever found.
Arby's, I imagine you could make one heckuva heavy necklace with all your holed coins!

Quote: I feel a monster box is coming, someone is going to his it big. Hope it's me!! Went by one of regular pick up banks today to get halves, the vault teller said she didn't do the ordering this week because of a meeting and the one who did the order didn't place the order. She said she'd make it up by ordering $2000. next week. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get $1000. worth from the bank that didn't get their delivery last week. This thread is 1200 pages long. I've been reading the thread from the beginning since I joined the forum and am now up to page 760.

Last box gave up a few silver, proofs, and NIFC. 40% - 3 (2-67, 1-69 which I think is an SMS issue) Proofs - 71 & 72 NIFC - 2 Plated 74 I couldn't get a pic of the '67 finish to show up well but it's the nicest 40%'er I've seen. Near mirror-like with some minor scuffing. I suspect it was from a Special Mint Set but don't have a good way to verify it. Couple of pics below, let me know what you think. Summary of finds: 3 - 'proofs': Good luck hunting!

Ok, I can see I'm the only one that stayed home from work sick today...so here's another post. Went through a box this morning with good results. I seem to be on a silver streak here. 35 silvers! 1949 Franklin 4 - 1964 Kennedy 30 - 40% (4-65, 3-66, 11-67, 7-68, 5-69) NIFC - 2 (Including my first hunted 1987!!) Took about 16,500 halves to finally pull an '87. Still haven't found a business strike 1970 yet. Pics below. Good sign, found a 40% ender: Silver summary: NIFC's: What do you guys think about this 1977 being a 'No FG'? Super high-tech photo through my magnifying glass: Good luck hunting!

Cracked open my first box ever. And hit silver. Nothing to write home about. But not a skunk. 2 -69 1- 68 1-67 1-65 And 1982 proof 2-2007 1-2008 And A 1973 fake coin? Not metal. Thought it was a magician coin. But can't crack it open. ?
