thanks and great finds too Jack, glad to see you back on it. sweet bender. Not sure about that S&S wrap deal. Thanks all, I'mstill in shock here over the find! even though I didnt even pull it. I looked over and she was looking at it all weird, at first I thought it was an 1893 expo half.... but this is sweeter. there are some real nice bu 40%ers here, and the 1964s look good too.

2 boxes last week. 1st was skunk. 2nd Produced 7 40%ers and a hand full of NIFC.
Got a question about the NIFC's. I'm keeping them just to keep them. But dont really plan on holding them. Is their any market out their for them. I understand it would be very little mark up but Just curious do any of you Keep them to resell. And if so where are you selling them.

I was selling NIFCs for a while by the roll when I was selling a guy copper pennies.
I have worked my stash down to about 5 rolls of the best. I just traded some for star notes and silver certs.

coinsrus - that looks like a 1799 halfpenny to me. The George III pennies of that period were much larger than a half dollar. Still an amazing find to get in a roll!

I've just been getting skunks. I hate those long boxes with the holes in them...if I get one of those I almost guarantee that I'm not finding anything.

Skibdib - very cool commemorative! I hadn't seen that one yet, it is definitely a good pull.
My Commemorative finds usually come with other silvers as well. Like you mentioned, you are in a good vein.
Keep it up.
I should have two boxes Wednesday after getting none last week. Looking forward to it.
Hope everyone had a Happy Easter.

coinsrus, that is a pretty crazy pull. If that is 1799 as NumisRob said, thats an insanely old date for a roll find, even if 1800s. Congrats!

NIFC = Not intended for circulation. Collector coins that are offered that way etc.

Could also mean Not Issued for Circulation, but the intent is the same. As said, these are coins issued/intended for collectors only. They are sold by the mint at a premium and not released into the Federal Reserve at face value. If you find them in circulation, it is because some individual put them there, either out of ignorance or laziness.
