I went to dump some halves at the bank in the mall parking lot since I was already there to drop $771 in dollars coins at Sears, Roebuck, & Co paying my credit card bill and they close at 5 now It had better not be all of the branches like BMO did a year or 2 ago. 4 boxes yesterday. I found my first stickered silver. 2 out of 4 boxes had silver.

Great finds!

Silver Searcher, thanks for the idea, I went and did it! picked up an extra box that they had ordered, not sure why they had it. No stamp # on this one. 17 x 40%ers! im sure I will wake from this soon. for now I dream of a barber box since the sky seems the limit.

Skib you've had some amazing luck these past weeks. That's a crazy awesome 1936 Long Island half.

Jack your head must be killing you, you are hitting it on too many brick walls! Skibdib, nice to see you are scoring some silver. Hope it keeps up for you. Just got back from my vacation and picked up 4 boxes, plan on cracking them open in the morning. Bishftl, are you still up for that trade?. Let me know. "LOVE THE HUNT!"

I was all ready to cut back from 12 boxes a week to 8 after last months luck since I have to work 6 days a week 9-5 and have enough trouble dumping. If I lose access to this brand of bank after 5PM it won't be a pretty sight.

Berto, I live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in Texas. Not sure why, but I have had absolutely lousy luck with silver halves here when I buy boxes. The only silver I have found, aside from the first box I ever searched, has been from gas station purchases.

Just finished my first 4 boxes for the week and all skunks, I think that is 12 in a row? I did pull 18 NIFC and 1 really nice 1973 S Clad Proof, off to dump and pick up 4 more boxes.

morgand33 Quote: Got a question about the NIFC's. I'm keeping them just to keep them. But dont really plan on holding them. Is their any market out their for them. I understand it would be very little mark up but Just curious do any of you Keep them to resell. And if so where are you selling them. ebay is a place to start. Paypal & ebay fees are horrible. Check out the sold NIFC coins, then be guided by that.

The colour is hard to mistake... Netherlands Antilles minted silver coins up untill 1970, so your coin is one of the last silver ones made.

Yeah I heard from the people at the World coins forum that the coin has a mintage of 50,000 and is worth a bit over the melt value especially since there is no longer the Netherlands Antilles. Awesome! :D
