I got 2 boxes Thursday afternoon. I've been busy since, so far I've been through just over a box and half of them with no silver found and only (2) 2002-date NIFC. I plan to finish the last box later this evening. Currently have over $2K worth of halves that I need to dump. Dumping is always a pain and even worse when you don't get anything in return.

After a very slow 2 and a half months and seriously contemplating taking a break after 10 years of hunting , I picked 4 boxes and each had silver :

Box 1 7 40%
Box 2 15 40%
Box 3 2 40%
Box 4 9 40%

All in all, 33 40% and it feels great to be back

Good luck to all!

180 bucks the other day, a few nicely toned enders and a lot. A LOT of 2001s. I only kept a few of the nicest ones. THey are nice! The toners from the paper are cool too. No silver. As usual.

Nice Commemorative CSOTUS! Great to find those, though I shudder to think what kind of people are dumping those at a bank!

pamelajoe - Sounds like you have found a Magician's coin. They usually have their center machined out so that a different type of machined out coin can be inserted. Thus creating a coin with two faces that don't exist together under normal circumstances.

Got through my first box from last week, skunk. It is painfully obvious that it is someone's dump as 1/2 of the coins and more are edge marked or face marked.

Scored a 2002P NIFC.

Part of the way into my second box and I'm seeing the same marks. Very low expectations for this box also.

Good luck out there.

Once again in only a week a teller had $14.50 in half dollars and there was 5-40% halves. I am having an extreme dry spell with boxes but the loose halves are making up for that.
